The beauty of teaching is that every student's growth and learning is an inspiration to me.
Singing lessons and piano lessons should be fun and creative. I hold my students to high technical standards but they are a means to the goal of beautiful passionate music. I try to help each student discover the ways he or she best learns. We also study who the composer of a song or piece is and what his or her intentions were, as well as the historical time frame, so that we can better understand how to perform the piece of music and truly bring it to life. Music is not just notes; it is an expression of the soul of the composer and the performer.
